TDI Full Cave Diver

This course is the third (3rd) stage of training in the series of TDI’s
cave diver development programs. This course is for the serious
adventure wanting to explore further into the overhead environment, make
jumps off of main lines to adjoining passages.
During the cave course your TDI Instructor will teach you the proper
techniques for diving in a cave environment while maintaining a constant
guideline. Advanced cave dive planning, the practical execution of
different types of cave systems and scenarios divers encounter are
presented. This cave diving course is not intended to prepare divers for
evaluating all facets of cave diving. The objective of this course is
to expand and critique previous skills accomplished in the Cavern and
Introductory Cave diving programs. Emphasis is placed upon dive planning
and skill perfection through actual cave penetration. The primary focus
of the Full Cave Diver course is establishing proper procedures for
completing traverses and circuits. At this stage divers are expected to
be conversant with the use and appropriate configuration of twin sets.
Deep Tech are able to offer TDI Tech Courses to those that have not made
the transition during earlier cave training.
During this course you will cover topics and skills

Proper guideline procedures -
Lost line drills -
buddy emergency procedures -
S drills -
Hand and light signals
This course requires a minimum time duration of 4
days.

What do I need to start?
- Have a minimum certification of Introductory Cave Diver or equivalent
- Minimum of 50 logged dives
- Minimum age 18 years
- Obtain a valid diving medical statement signed by a physician. (If you do not have one you can easily get one done at our dive centre)

procedures for conducting cave dives and a great addition to your diving
library.

for purchase at our dive shop so you can get it on your arrival to the
dive centre)

Note that all costs related to this activity are mentioned in the above table - there are no hidden charges.
In the case of boat dives a supplement charge will be added to cover for the cost of the boat. This charge varies between 15 and 25euros p/dive according to the location however you can confirm the price of the boat a few days before the trip as to have a more accurate quote.
